NEW DELHI: The Chinese smartphone-maker Vivo launched its latest mid-range smartphone – Vivo V15 Pro – in India priced at Rs 28,990.
Nipun Marya, Director of Brand Strategy at Vivo India, confirmed that this launch in India was the smartphone’s global launch. The new device has seven updates from its predecessor Vivo V11 Pro – camera sensor, rear camera, front camera, display, ROM, processor
During the launch, Ankit Malhotra, Product Manager of Vivo India, said that the new device is a combination of best innovations. It comes with slim bezels, no notch and 6.39-inch UltraView Full display.
Malhotra stated that creating the world’s first 32MP pop-up selfie camera was the critical part. “We hid the camera behind the display so it doesn’t take valuable space and pops up when required,” he added.
The pop-up has been made to work for 3,00,000 times, i.e., if one takes 100 selfies in a day, the pop-up function can work for 8 years without a glitch.
Super Night mode clicks impressive and bright pictures. The camera gives super clarity even in daylight. Currently, India has 215 million mobile gamers, and the industry’s revenue is expected to touch $1 billion. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor delivers three aspects to the new smartphone – camera, artificial intelligence and gaming. With modes like Dual-Turbo & e-Sport, the device gives an ultra smooth experience to mobile gamers.
For the selfie lovers, Vivo V 15 Pro promises a 32MP pop-up front camera and an AI-powered triple-rear camera setup, one of which is a 48MP sensor. It will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner at Rs 28,990.
The smartphone is also expected to feature a 6.39-inch UltraView Full-HD+Super AMOLED display with a layer of Corning Gorilla glass.
The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor along with 6GB RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone will come with a 128GB internal memory and a microSD card. Other features include a 3,700 mAh battery with Dual Engine for fast charging.
